What are Nicotine Salts?

Nicotine salts usually deliver a smoother throat hit, even though they have more nicotine by volume. This is due to the extraction method they utilize. Nicotine salts are usually preferred by users who have a higher nicotine tolerance, especially for people quitting traditional smoking, i.e. cigarettes.

What are Freebase E-Liquids?

Freebase e-liquids are a more pure form of nicotine due to the simplistic extraction methods used. This leads to a lower dose of nicotine by volume than its counterpart, nicotine salts. Freebase e-liquids also come in a wider variety of flavors.

What’s the difference?

The main difference between nicotine salts and freebase e-liquids is their amount of nicotine by volume. Nicotine salts also absorbs faster in the body than freebase e-liquids. It is important to note that nicotine salts should be vaped at a lower wattage due to the high amounts of nicotine and the complex extraction methods. 25 watts is the highest wattage an individual should use when vaping nicotine salts. Vaping nicotine salts at too high of a wattage can cause complications to the user. Freebase e-liquids don’t have the same restrictions due to the much lower amount of nicotine by volume as well as the simplistic extraction methods used. Nicotine salts are optimized to be used in pod systems that generate less power compared to modern mods that specialize in high power outputs.

When vaping, battery safety is important and needs to be taken seriously to ensure the device works properly and the user is safe. Though it may sound complicated, battery safety is easy and all it takes is visually inspecting your batteries.
